Blessed to be a witness

One of my favourite songs ever. Awesome music, awesome lyrics, everything's good. It's a song I want played at my funeral. Make that wedding as well.

Here's the lyrics too:

Corcovado parted the sky
And through the darkness
On us He shined
Crucified in stone
Still his blood is my own
Glory behold all my eyes have seen

I am blessed to be a witness

Some have flown away
And can't be with us here today
Like the hills of my home
Some have crumbled and now are gone
Gather around for today won't come again

I am blessed to be a witness

So much sorrow and pain
Still I will not live in vain
Like good questions never asked
Is wisdom wasted on the past
Only by the grace of God go I

I am blessed to be a witness

  1. You got any idea what the significance behing Corcovado is? I couldn't find anything on the net, but that was a while ago.

Also, I watched like the first ten seconds of that video then it just stops and those two little red icons pop up, dunno if its my computers prob or yours but? Prob mine.

  2. Hey Digs,

Nah i think it's yours, because it works on mine. I looked up corcovado, apparently it means 'hunchback' in Portuguese. It's a mountain in central Rio de Janiero, and it has a 38 metre tall statue of Jesus right at the peak. Ah thank you, wikipedia.

so once you wrestle linda and sime for rights to marry me off, and if you win, then you get to have the privelege of playing milo tins in that song at my wedding. IF you win.
