"Erzähl mir keine Märchen!" = "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining!"
I'm pretty sure that if someone is pissing on your back, both of you have bigger problems than them telling you lies.

You know what's funny? I've heard that expression before.
ReplyDeleteBenjamin, you are the undeniable master of labels, and I know you think you can use your weirdo labels multiple times, but if you ever attempt to re-use 'pissing on people' I will be highly unimpressed... or shocked and awed (and incredibly grossed out) at your dedication to the art of blogging.
Where would you have heard that expression before?
ReplyDeleteI know I can use my weirdo labels and I will. You just wait. It's all building up under the surface and one day, it's going to RAIN incredible labels. That day will then be known as Christmas. Or some other name, I haven't really thought about it.
Believe it or not, I decided against posting a blog this week about a news post I read. To give you an idea, some possible labels would have been 'lonely men', 'unfortunate injuries' and 'sex with a park bench'.
